| STEP 1: Operator enters subject information into computer. |

| STEP 2: Operator calibrates the BOD POD. |

| STEP 3:Operator weighs the subject. |

STEP 4: Subject sits in the BOD POD for two 50-second measurements. If using a predicted lung volume, testing is now complete.
If measuring lung volume, proceed to Step 5. |

| STEP 5: Subject´s lung volume is measured using a breathing tube (takes about 15 secs.) |

| Testing is complete and results are printed. |
